A certified plant-based engine oil

The base oil and esters are derived from raw plant materials.

Only palm oil from raw materials that meet the RSPO certification requirement is used. The ester meets high standards of plant-based.

Biomass Mark

The Biomass Mark issued by the Japan Organics Recycling Association (JORA) certifies that Plantech Racing oil contains components made from biomass (renewable organic material from plants and/or animals).

The carbon footprint is 82% lower than mineral oil, based on the Japan LP Gas Association estimate of CO₂ emissions per unit of plant-derived base oil during the entire product life cycle from raw material procurement to disposal and recycling.

Molybdenum Ester Technology

Highly refined plant-based oils do not readily dissolve molybdenum, an element that reduces power loss caused by frictional resistance. However, Idemitsu applied its know-how and nano-tailored technology to vastly increase the amount of molybdenum and improve racing performance. We further optimized durability in harsh racing conditions by formulating a high-viscosity plant-based ester – for a revolution that unites performance and sustainability.
